Barry Cox

Co-Founder, Retired

Barry Cox is a native of Haleyville, Alabama, and a graduate of Haleyville High School, where he was recognized as Mr. Havala. A father of three—two sons and a daughter—Barry built his career on hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to service. He brought more than 40 years of trucking and transportation experience and over 30 years of expertise in tire, agricultural equipment, and feed sales to the business. In 1999, Barry helped launch the company with a single 1980 Ford pickup truck outfitted with overload springs, operating from a 20-by-20 shed beside his grandmother’s home. With a $2,500 loan used to purchase feed, a few pairs of overalls, and boots, he personally hand-stacked two to three tons of feed each week. Under his leadership and vision, the operation grew into a full-scale enterprise that now handles 40 to 50 tons of feed weekly with a dedicated fleet of trucks—an enduring testament to his work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
